July 15, 2008 - GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- A Fort Worth man died overnight after he was struck by lightning while camping at Joe Pool Lake, near Dallas.
Police say Dexter Leonard was hit Tuesday evening while rushing to load his camping gear in his car after a storm broke over Lynn Creek Park at the south Grand Prairie lake. He was taken to Arlington Memorial Hospital in nearby Arlington, where he died early Wednesday. Full Story
