New homes in most of Fort Worth would see an impact fee of $1,500 under the proposal, with lower fees in two regions of town and no fee in most neighborhoods inside Loop 820. Under the original proposal, the area inside Loop 820 would have been largely exempt, but the fees in other areas would have ranged from a few hundred dollars to a maximum of $6,102."
